On Wednesday, they played the Star City Bulldogs, last year’s defending state champions. The Lady Eagles fell 54-26 putting them 3-2 in conference play.

On Friday night, however, they redeemed themselves with a big win. The Lady Eagles beat the Lady Lions in the Hamburg-Crossett rivalry game.

The Lady Eagles finished 43-36.
