Crossett Lady Eagles come out on top in basketball jamboree

The Crossett Lady Eagles came out on top in Saturday’s basketball jamboree in Hamburg. The girls played two 25 minute sessions of basketball against Dumas and later McGhee and won both. The Lady Eagles will play their first home game on Monday night in the new CHS arena. The boys’ basketball team is scheduled to play as well, but the opposing team, Lakeside High School of Lake Village made the football playoffs and is considering rescheduling. The decision will be made on Saturday morning.
