The Crossett Bass Club hosted its annual youth tournament on the Ouachita River Saturday.

Dale Phillips, the club’s secretary, said the tournament went well.

Ben Brockwell of Hamburg won the 13 to 17 age division with a total catch of 10.36 pounds. Brockwell also had the biggest bass of the day with a fish weighing 2.32 pounds.

Ryland Jackson came in second place with a total weight of 9.67 pounds with his biggest fish weighing 2.26 pounds. Hayson Johnston won third place with a total weight of 8.11 pounds and his biggest bass weighed 2.17 pounds.

Hayden Harrison placed fourth with a total of 6.39 and big fish of 2.04 and Austin Fleming was behind him with a total of 5.26 pounds and big bass weighing 2.06 pounds. Hayes Jackson came in last with a total weight of 4.30 pounds.

Laynie Billings won biggest bass in the lady’s division with a fish weighing 1.54 pounds.

In the younger age category, Trystan White won first place with a total catch of 8.51 pounds and won biggest bass with a fish weighing 2.02 pounds.

Maddox Black came in second with a total weight of 7.75 pounds and Hutch Jackson came in third with a total weight of 7.62 pounds. Black’s largest fish weighed just under two pounds and Jackson’s weighed 1.75 pounds.

Ryder Rainwater placed fourth with a total weight of 6.01 with his biggest fish weighing in just two ounces less than Trystan White’s big bass.

Jonah White placed fifth with a total weight of 5.57 pounds with his biggest fish weighing in at 1.40 pounds.

Other fisherman included Brantley Pennington, Dalton Craig, Ethan Hill and Brady Carter.
