Teacher students? Several CHS teachers attend college and teach full time. They go to school to complete higher degrees in education.

“I am going to school  to further my education,” CHS science teacher Regan Deblieux said.

She goes to online school at University  of Arkansas at Monticello. She is working to earn her Masters of Arts in Teaching.

“I try to get most of my school work finished at home or on the weekends,” Deblieux said. “As far as teaching, I try to get here early every morning and I stay late everyday after school  to prepare for the next day of school; I also work on a lot of my teaching duties during my conference period each day.”

Teachers who go to school struggle to have balance with both activities, but manage to do their best.

“I am going to school so I can get a degree and further my education and advance my options,” Kolby Stewart said.

Kolby also goes to school online at UAM.

“It’s definitely tough, especially with my work schedule,” Stewart said. “I have to make time for what’s important, to make it a top priority.”
