Jakeb Gulledge, a student at Crossett High School has earned his yellow belt.

He received it Sept. 12. Gulledge said it is important to him because it’s a great achievement. He dreams of someday becoming a blackbelt like his uncle, who teaches him.

“I can’t wait to be flipping all over the place, and I also dream of becoming as good as Bruce Lee.” Jakeb added, “My Uncle Phil is also a blackbelt in Taekwondo but he is currently teaching me karate. I know a lot of moves already, I know a high block, low block, middle block, middle punch, front snap kick, and sidekick.”
