Crossett EAST attends conference in Hot Springs

Students with Crossett’s East program spent weeks preparing what their conference booth would look like.

The Crossett High School  E.A.S.T. team traveled to Hot Springs for conference March 12 to 14.

The theme for the year’s conference was “360 Degrees: a Revolution in Education.”

The students stayed three days to collaborate with other schools and students to bring new things to our community through the CHS EAST program.

Eight students represented Crossett High School along with their sponsor Audwin Bradford, and chaperone Jacqueline Hennington.

In preparation for the event, they spent weeks planning what to make the booth look like for the conference. The booth theme was gaming.

The booth also included the many projects that the Crossett High School has done for the year.

On the last day of conference, the theme for 2019 East conference was revealed, which is:  “Engage Empower.”
