Wilburn Austin

Henry Wilburn Austin, 69, of Crossett, died while surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 22, 2019. He was born on May 4, 1949 in Snyder, to Henry W. and Peggy Roberts Austin.

Wilburn was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Elton Dean Austin.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Connie Cheeseman Austin; two sons, Shane Austin and Toby Austin and spouse Brooke, both of Crossett; five daughters, Krista Goyne and spouse Ashley, Allison Austin and spouse Chris Jordan, Anna Austin, Alexandra Mills and spouse Justin and Meredith Austin, all of Crossett; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Shelia Drake and spouse Dickey and Nita McDaniel and spouse David; one brother, Emory Austin and spouse Patsy and a number of friends and loved ones.

Funeral services for Wilburn Austin were Wednesday, 2:30 p.m. April 24 at Beech Street Baptist Church in Crossett.

Graveside services followed at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Snyder, under the direction of Jones Funeral Home, Inc. with the Rev. Donnie Dubose officiating.

Pallbearers were Dennis Terrell, Joey Terrell, Josh King, Josh Parrot, Austin Vestal and Nick Austin.
