WHITNEY McCREA BLANN GREENE

Whitney McCrea Blann Greene, 41, of Crossett, passed away Friday, May 15, 2020. She was born on January 28, 1979, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to her parents, Tony and Pamela Pace Blann, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crossett. In 1997, she graduated from Crossett High School and went on to graduate from the South Arkansas University Nursing Program in 2001 as a Registered Nurse.

Whitney had a passion for playing softball, scrapbooking, taking photos of her friends, and making people laugh daily with her hilarious social media posts. Whitney was kind hearted, loving and truly one-of-a-kind when it came to caring for anyone she ever met; she had such a giving, nurturing spirit. She loved her family immensely, and her pride and joy was her special fur babies, Maddie, Zoee, and Dax.

She was a serious decorator at Christmas, her most favorite holiday, and loved giving gifts to all the ones she loved so dearly.

Whitney possessed a heart that was full of love for everyone and was known for her unforgettable smile, sense of humor, and endless generosity.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Adam and Ira Blann, of Crossett, and Rastus and Jewell Pace; and one uncle, JR Pace, all of Monticello.

She is survived by her parents, Tony and Pam Blann of Crossett; her husband, Landon Greene of Crossett; one brother, Lance Blann of Dallas, TX; and a special aunt, Remona Bishop of Crossett; along with her dearest friends, Shawna Hawkins and Jody Newman.
