Taylor Smith

Taylor Makenzie Smith, 7, of Fountain Hill, died Wednesday, July 3, 2019. Taylor just finished the first grade at Noble/Allbritton Elementary School in Hamburg.

Taylor was preceded in death by her brother, Logan Smith, an uncle, Joshua Smith and her great-grandparents, Johnny and Vela Sue Taylor and Doris Moran.

Survivors include her parents, Danny Jr. and Becky Swires Smith of Fountain Hill; three brothers, Jacob Smith of San Bernardino, Calif., Danny Smith III and Remmington Smith, both of Fountain Hill; a sister, Racheal Smith of Fountain Hill; her grandparents, Nonika Swires of Stockton, Calif., Rodney Shaw of Alabama and Danny Sr. and Bonnie Smith of Hamburg; her great grandparents, Thomas Moran of Hamburg, Warren and Ann Taylor of Southaven, Miss., and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services were 10 a.m., July 6, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clayton Hales officiating.

Burial followed in the Eden Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Chad Chadwick, Blake Mills, Raymond Blunt, and Richard Bowles.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg.
