Sylvester Tucker

Sylvester Tucker of Crossett was born Jan. 27, 1952 and died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, at the Ashley County Medical Center.

 He is survived by his wife of 47 years: Linda Tucker of Crossett; eight children Angela Warren and spouse Anthony of Waukegan, Ill., Basil Wilma Hendrix of Arlington, Texas, Capresha Hampton of Crossett David Hampton and spouse Taffany of Crossett, Ashley Hobbs and spouse Deroderick of Bastrop, Quintisha Whaley and spouse JaCario of Crossett, Marshata Tucker of Crossett, and Chelsa Tyson of Crossett; nine siblings, Rosie Turner, Viola Shields, Jimmy Tucker, Raymond Turner and spouse Shirley, and Marion Turner and spouse Julia, all of Seattle, Wa.; Clifton Tucker and spouse Posic of Mesquite, Texas, Eli Tucker and spouse Darlene of Osceola, Ark., Curtis Tucker and spouse and Marie Martin of Crossett.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15 at the Living Word Church of Christ. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the chapel of Mitchell Memorial. 

Burial will follow in the Ryles Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett.
