Sam Curran, 79, of Crossett, died Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at his home in North Crossett.  Mr. Curran worked in the food sales industry. Mr. Curran was a member of the Cloverdale Assembly of God Church. 

He is preceded in death by a son, Kevin Curran; his parents, Tom and Sallie Crouch Curran; four sisters, Hazel Curran Milligan, Louise Curran Bell, Belle Curran Allen, and Eva Faye Curran Turner and three brothers, Melvin Curran, Elvin Curran and John W. Curran.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patsy Sledge Curran of Crossett; a son, Keith Curran and wife, Rhonda, of Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Darlene Jackson and husband, Walter; a daughter-in-law, Belinda Greene Curran all of Crossett; a sister, Lois Curran of Lebanon, Mo.; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren,  and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, June 28, in the Carlock Cemetery with the Revs. David Williams and Carlton White officiating. 

Pallbearers will be Josh Curran, Cole Curran, Dustin Curran, Slade Curran, D.J. Bussell and Ronnie McDonald. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Berryman, Kenneth Knight, Carlton Maxwell, Doug Piker and Bryan Bolin. 

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg.
