Lois Lee

Lois Jean Lochala Lee, 85, of Crossett, died on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at the Somerset Senior Living in Crossett. She was born on May 5, 1933, to her parents, William and Jennie Ready Lochala. Lois was a 1951 graduate of Crossett High School and a member of Jarvis Chapel Baptist Church. For 25 years, she worked for Georgia Pacific in the Plywood Mill, where she retired as a tool room clerk in 1994.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Young Lee; one son, Larry Mac Lee; and two brothers, Billy and Bobby Lochala.

Survivors include two daughters, Janiece Bracy, Jennifer Walker and husband, Donny; and one son, Malcolm Lee all of Crossett; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service was 2 p.m. June 1 at Jarvis Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Lloyd Gibbs officiating.

Internment followed at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Medders Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Andy Rice, Josh Martin, Dustin Walker, Elijah Bracy, Ty Cobb, Cade Cobb, and Jacob Lee.

Honorary pallbearers were Morris Herrington, Jason Roberts, Scott Parker, Caleb Martin, Evan Lee, Parker Rice, Brody Martin, and Owen Rice.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the children and youth programs of Jarvis Chapel Baptist Church.
