John K. Murphy, 67, of Warren, died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020 in the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. He was born Oct. 28, 1952 in Crossett, a son of the late John K. Murphy Sr. and Anice Jewell Mann Murphy.  

He was a graduate of the Hermitage Public Schools. He worked as an Arkansas Forestry Commission ranger and investigator for 30 years, and was a farmer. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Free Will Baptist Church. 

Also preceding him in death was his son, John William “Bill” Murphy.

Surviving is his wife, Carol Bryant Murphy; a son Robert Murphy and spouse Jessica, of Warren; a daughter, Patricia Murphy Wilkinson and spouse Shannon, of Warren;  and six grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery with burial following under the direction of  Frazer’s Funeral Home. 

Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time in the Pleasant Valley Free Will Baptist Church until service time. Masks are required.

Memorials are preferred to Pleasant Valley Free Will Baptist Church.
