Helen Robbins

Helen Martin Robbins, 70, of Crossett, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019, in Crossett. Mrs. Robbins graduated from Crossett High School. She worked as a florist for many years and worked at the Oakhurst Minit Shop. She attended Cloverdale Assembly of God Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, L.L. “Monkey” Robbins; a daughter, Laurie Ann Robbins White; her parents, John Oliver and Grace Parker Martin and three brothers, Jimmy Martin, Tommy Martin, and Glenn Martin.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Robbins Weaver of Crossett; her son, Johnny Robbins of Maplevale; her son-in-law, Mike White of Crossett; two sisters, Joyce Blocker of Jonesboro, La., and Deannie Moss of Palmyra, Mo.; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were 10 a.m., Sept. 6, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Grant officiating.

Burial followed in Crossroads Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Mike Chisholm, Logan Harrington, Price Holt, Keith Harrington, Albert Mills, Kevin Cosby, Willie Person, and Eric Wall. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2222 Cottondale Lane, Ste 310, Little Rock 72202.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg, Arkansas.
