Faither Mae White, 91, of Montrose, was born Sept. 11, 1930, and died on Friday, Dec. 31, 2021 at Chicot Memorial Hospital. She was a homemaker and member of Evergreen Baptist Church in Boydell.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lee Otis White; three sons, Theofice White, Jackie Wayne White, and Willie White; her parents, Frank and Hattie Mae West; three brothers, M.C., Roland, and Frank West; and two sisters Marie White and Betty Jean Hendrix.
She is survived by two sons, Robert White of Montrose, and Otis White and spouse Dorothy of Detroit; three daughters Mary Ann White of Pasadena, Calif., Mae Catherine Briggs of Maumelle, and Evelyn Webb of Russellville; two brothers Cleo West and spouse Bobby of Pasadena, Calif., and L.C. West and spouse Agnes of Cleveland; one sister, Lula Wilkins of Boydell; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a number of other family members and friends.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at Christ Community Center in Dermott, with Minister Charles Graham officiating.
Pallbearers will be Larry Woods, Don Peoples, Stacey Kennedy, Cameron McCullough, Andrew McCoy, and Nathan Simon.
Honorary pallbearers will be Otis Lee White, Robert White, Dezmond White, Larry West, and Danny Ray Wilkins.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Boydell.
Visitation will be 4 to 5 p.m. Friday at Cromwell Funeral Home in Hamburg.
