Darlene R. Harper, 86, of Crossett, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020, at her home. She was born on Aug. 19, 1934, in Arlington, Wash., to her parents, David and Ruah Helms.

She attended First Baptist Church of Crossett.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 52 years, Delwyn “Dutch” Harper; and one son, Scott Alan Harper.

She is survived by a daughter, Sheri Brooks and spouse Jim of Crossett; two sons, David Harper and spouse Sue of Gales Ferry, Conn., and Brett Harper and spouse Rebecca of Haskell, Okla.; one sister, Barbara Lester of Norman, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; 26 great- grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one niece and one nephew; and a number of other family and friends.

A graveside Service was 2 p.m., Nov.  9, at Pinewood Memorial Park in Crossett with the Rev. Jamie Staley officiating under the direction of Medders Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
