Cheryl Johnson

Cheryl Ann Johnson, 60, died Jan. 7, 2020 at her home in St. Charles. She was born Oct. 11, 1959 to William and Edna Dawson at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.

Cheryl was a 1979 graduate of the St Charles High School. She was employed with Shelter Insurance Company and later worked for Lennox Industries in Stuttgart, and was a homemaker.

She was a member of the St Charles Baptist Church.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, William Shelby Dawson.

She is survived by husband, Mickey D. Johnson Sr. of St Charles; her mother, Edna Dawson; sons Mat Watkins and spouse Bethany, Steven Watkins and spouse Jennifer, and Mickey Johnson Jr.; daughters, Ginger Bogy and spouse Tim, AmyRieves and spouse Roger; brothers, Lynn Dawson and spouse Betty, Jimmy Dawson and spouse Vicki, Jerry Dawson and spouse Dan, Bill Dawson and spouse Angela, and Bud Dawson and spouse Laura; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Services were Jan. 9 at the St. Charles Baptist Church with burial at St. Charles Cemetery.
