Billy Buren Burchfield, 75, of Crossett, died at Somerset Senior Living Facility in Crossett. He was born Feb. 2, 1943 to Homer "Nig" and Marnell Burchfield. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Crossett. He served in the Army National Guard, and was retired as an electrician with Georgia Pacific Paper Mill.

He was preceded in death by his father, Homer "Nig" Burchfield.

Survivors include his mother, Marnell Marie Phillips Burchfield of Crossett; two children, Bill and Susan; one brother, Randall Burchfield and spouse Tammy of Crossett; one sister, Judy Tucker of Crossett and a number of of other family members and friends.

The family of Billy Burchfield would like to thank all of the CNAs, nurses and staff at Somerset Senior Living. Your kindness and compassion will always be remembered.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Jan. 26 at Jones Funeral Home Inc. with Ken Burchfield officiating. Interment followed in Pinewood Memorial Park.

Pallbearers were Ken Burchfield, John Marter, Freddie Guin, Carson Gilbert, Zach Gilbert and Aaron Davis.

Honorary Pallbearers were the Crossett High School Class of 1961.
