A memorial service for Bill Sivils and his wife, Debbie, will be 11 a.m. June 27 at the Promise Land Cemetery.

Billy R. Sivils, 73, of Greenbrier, died May 10, 2020, at his home.

He was born March 20,1947 in Hamburg,  to Ervin and Goldie Sivils. He graduated in 1965 from Hamburg High School. Bill worked in the data management business, including with IBM and Axiom. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Guy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and five brothers.

Bill was briefly survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Debbie Sivils of Greenbrier; his children, Shawn Sivils of Greenbrier, and Paul and Jamie Musick; and one sister, Glenda Doss of Hamburg.

Debra Sue Lacey Sivils, 65, died peacefully at her home in Greenbrier on Thursday, May 28, 2020 from MDS, a form of cancer.

Debbie was born Sept 23, 1954 in Monticello to Pauline and Britton Lacey.  She is proceeded in death by her parents; a brother, Victor Marcussen; and her husband by her husband of 45 years, Bill. 

She is survived by their son, Shawn Christopher Sivils, as well as one sister, Betty Sue Mitchell of Crossett. 

She was a journeyman potter. 

In lieu of flowers memorials for Billy may be made to the Gideons or Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
