Barron Johnson

Mr. Barron Keith Johnson, 48, of Hamburg died Sunday, May 12, 2019, at Cornerstone Rehabilitation Hospital in Little Rock. He was a retiree of the Arkansas Highway Department, and a member of the Christ Temple Pentecostal Church. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Ann Johnson-Miller; his father, Hosie “Snapper” Heard; and two sisters, Shiree Johnson and Debbie Sue Heard. 

Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Oneka Allen-Johnson; one son, Cameron Keith Johnson, of Hamburg; two daughters, Cierra K. Johnson, of Hamburg, and Carriell C. Brown, of Stuttgart; three brothers, Adrian Tucker, of Fayetteville, Kelvin and Bruce Heard, both of Detroit; three sisters, Tammy Nimmer and husband Lee, of Hamburg, Vernnicia Huggins and husband Allen, of Dallas, and Shelby Wood and husband Henry, of Burkeville, Texas; three grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at Christ Temple Pentecostal Church with Bishop Alfonso Madden officiating. 

Active pallbearers will be Joe Killingsworth, Shrun Jenkins, Walter Jenkins, Jason Jenkins, C.T. Lewis, Taci Gillam, Keith Pippen, and William Tippett. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Hamburg High School Class of 1989, Christ Temple Men’s Ministry, Lee Nimmer, Adrian Tucker, Allen Huggins, Derrick Allen, Allen Johnson, Lee Allen, Connon Foster, Undra Reynolds, and Vincent Foster. 

Burial will follow at Johnson Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday at Cromwell Funeral Home Inc. in Hamburg.
