A Crossett woman was killed in a wreck near the state line outside of Hamburg on Sunday night.

Angie Craig, 39, of Crossett was killed in a motor vehicle wreck after she apparently lost control of her vehicle.

The preliminary report by Arkansas State Trooper John Pryor said Craig was traveling South on U.S. 425 when the wreck occurred at approximately 5:55 p.m.

Craig was driving a 2014 Jeep Patriot and her only passenger was Shawn White of Crossett.

Craig’s vehicle apparently left the roadway on the right side of the road and re-entered the highway. The vehicle then crossed both lanes of traffic before leaving the roadway again on the northbound lane.

The report states it then rotated clockwise, ejecting the driver, before coming to a final rest on its wheels in a northbound ditch area facing in a north bound direction.

White was transported to Ashley County Medical Center, but no details regarding his condition were released.

The report notes the weather conditions as clear and the road condition were dry. No other details were available.
