The Salvation Army of Ashley County has a newly formed board, constituted of members from Crossett and Hamburg. “Our goal is to enhance the great things that were being done by the board before us,” President Georganna Cossey said. The organization plans to have a booth at the Armadillo Festival in Hamburg, where members will ring the bell, and is seeking future bell ringers. The board members are Cossey, Treasurer Haley Chavis, Mandy White, Amanda Friedman, Justin Reed, Tony Allen, Pat Todd, Deborah Scott, Mae Jacob, Laura Huntsman, Katy Morgan, Stacy Taunton, Toby Austin, Angela Carpenter, Ardellia Mays, Margaret Holder and William Walter.
