The Crossett police responded to a wreck at the intersection of Main Street and Third Avenue at approximately 2:21 p.m. Monday. Reports at the Crossett Police Department say that Nakari Thrower was traveling west on Third Avenue in a 2018 Hyundai when a 2016 Chrysler struck the Hyundai, which then came to rest against a tree. Brian Miles,was traveling southbound on Main Street in the Chrysler when the vehicles collided. Both drivers told police they had a green light at the time of the crash. The report said the police had requested video from Century Next Bank to determine the cause of the crash. The wreck remains under investigation. (NEWS OBSERVER/Staff reports)
