Ashley County Sheriff Deputies located a 15-year-old girl who was reported missing from  Crossett last week.

ACSO Investigator Josh Pollock said authorities were able to find and locate  Bethany Burton, 15, of Crossett who was allegedly picked up in Crossett and taken out of the local area by Robert Duncan Jr., 18, also  of Crossett.

Pollock said both individuals were located in Pine Bluff.

Burton’s family contacted authorities on Wednesday, March 31, and reported her missing. At the time, Pollock said he had reason to believe she was in Pine Bluff and so he began working with Jefferson County to locate her.

Pollock’s information proved correct, and he located Burton in the Pine Bluff area at approximately 10 p.m. Friday, April 2.

Burton was returned home safely to her family and Duncan was booked and charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.
