A Hamburg woman was injured in a vehicle crash that killed two others near the Lincoln-Cleveland County line on Sunday.

The two vehicle collision happened at approximately 12:51 a.m. Sunday on a stretch of Arkansas 530 mid-way between Star City and Pine Bluff.

According to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report, Destiny Bowman, 23, of Hamburg, was northbound in a 2016 Chevrolet Camero on 530 when her vehicle crossed the center line. 

Bowman’s car struck a southbound 1992 GMC Vandura driven by Diana Bailey, 33 of Star City. 

Bailey died at the scene and her passenger, William Lynn, 28, also of Star City, died at approximately 4 a.m. that morning at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

Bowman’s condition was unavailable at press time.

The crash report notes the weather was clear but the road was wet.

Trooper Terrell Pratt investigated the accident for the Arkansas State Police.
