The Christmas in Crossett parade is set to roll Saturday, but the Hamburg Christmas parade that was scheduled for Thursday will not happen at that time.

The Hamburg Area Chamber of Commerce made the announcement Tuesday.

“It is with heavy hearts that we announce that this year’s Hamburg Holidays parade is cancelled,” a Hamburg Chamber spokesperson said. “Due to a lack of participation, we are unable to put on a parade for the community in 2020. Hopefully we can pick back up on this wonderful tradition in 2021. Until then, we hope you have a very blessed and safe Christmas season and a happy New Year.”

The Crossett Area Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas in Crossett parade will start lineup at 4 p.m. Dec. 5. The registration deadline for the parade is Dec. 2. Parade participants must be registered.

Other Christmas in Crossett events set for the weekend are the Downtown Christmas in Crossett event at 4 p.m. Friday, as well as the Jingle Bell Run Saturday morning and additional Christmas in Crossett events at the Farmer’s Market.
