The Hamburg Holidays event is approaching and organizers have announced that this year they will be bringing back the Glow Run.

Hamburg Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Georganna Cossey said that people are really excited that the Glow Run is returning and that she has already received a good response from the community.

The event will be Dec. 7, starting with the arts and crafts vendors and other activities at 2 p.m. Cossey said there will be pictures with Santa offered from 2 to 5 p.m. and multiple vendor booths will be on site.

The red wagon parade will be at 4:40 p.m. followed by the Christmas Story reading at 5:30 p.m. The parade will be at 6 p.m., and the glow run will begin directly after.

The deadline for vendors and for those interested in participating in the parade is Nov. 30.

The event has no cost for vendors and no cost for those interested in being in the parade. Cossey said those who wish may go by the Chamber office or email her at chamberofcommercehamburg@gmail.com to request forms or more information.

Cossey said the Chamber does not allow duplicate booths, so if someone is already registered to sell a product or item, they will not allow someone else to register to sell the same thing. It is determined on a first come, first served basis.

Those interested in registering for the Glow Run may do so by going by the Chamber office, sending Cossey an email, or finding the registration table the day of the event.
