A Crossett man died following a one vehicle crash Friday in Ashley County.

Reports from the Arkansas State Police said that, Joe L. Grayson, 64, of Crossett, was traveling north on Highway 133 near Ashley County Road 4 in an Infinity SUV when the crash occurred.

Grayson’s SUV reportedly ran off of the right side of the road and he was ejected from the vehicle as it overturned.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at approximately 3:50 p.m. and Grayson was transported to Ashley County Medical Center.

He later died at the hospital as a result of injuries received during the crash.

The report notes the road conditions were dry and the weather was clear.

No other information about the crash has been released at this time.

As of April 21, 125 people have died in car crashes in the state of Arkansas.

This accident was number 115 out of 117 fatal vehicle accidents in the state since Jan. 1.
