American Legion Post 111 presents commemorative coin

The American Legion Post 111 hosted a ceremony Sept. 11 to honor both the memory of 911 and the late Don Greene of Crossett. The Legion placed a plaque on its flag pole to recognize Greene’s years of commitment to the American Legion and to recognize the work he did while he was a member of the Legion. Vice Commander Steve Lochala also presented a commemorative coin to Greene’s widow in honor of Greene’s dedication to the Post 111 chapter.
