The Crossett Eagles Baseball Team played their best game of the year, shutting out the Pirates of Drew Central with the score of 15 to 0.

The visiting Pirates took to bat first. The Pirates first batter hit the ball to Cody Kelley; the second batter for the Pirates had a fly out to right field. Batter No. 3 had a pop out to the shortstop for a three-up, three-down first inning.

As the Eagles took to the plate, Kelley ended up on first base after being hit by a pitch. Gregory Junior took a walk, giving the Eagles runners on first and second base. Seth Woods singled to knock in the Eagles first run.

Bryson Gill followed with a hit to load the bases for Trent Pullin, who hit a fly out to right field for the Eagles first out. Gage Terrell hit a double into centerfield, however, to knock in Junior and Woods. Khalil Ellis singled to knock in Gill for another Eagle run. Bennett Holt came up with a single for the Eagles. Landon Golden had a fly ball caught out to left field, as did Kelley. The inning ended with a score of 6-0, Crossett.
