The Crossett Eagles Baseball team flew by the Owls from McGehee by the score of 16 to 4, and in the process one player was able to pull off a rarely accomplished task.
The Eagles jumped to a 6-1 lead in the first inning and never looked back.
By the second inning, the Eagles had already put the game out of sight by scoring another 8 runs, taking the score to 13-1.
Coach Dustin Wolcott starting subbing early, and the Eagles added four runs in the third inning and another 10 in the fourth, ending the game 27-4. McGehee was only able to take on run in the first and second inning, and two in the third before finishing the fourth with no additional scoring.
The Eagles put on a hitting clinic, while the pitching and fielding shut down the Owls effort to come back.
