Six arrested on drug charges
A six-month investigation led by Det. Bobby Linder of the Ashley County Sheriffs Department resulted in the arrest of six individuals including one juvenile on March 23.

Site work is underway on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive at the location of a cell tower for Verizon Wireless. PDQ Tower Services of Grand Valley, Mo. is performing the work, which has been delayed by recent wet weather.

A youngster has his face painted by Councilwoman Candace Jeffress during the March 28 Kiwanis Club "Eggstravaganza" at Crossland Zoo. Youngsters enjoyed the Easter egg hunt, face-painting, games and other activities.

Clark County Sheriff Jason Watson confirmed the discovery of the body of Wesley Livingston, 24, a graduate of Hamburg High School, on March 24.
