Motorist found not guilty of homicide
HAMBURG—In a tear-filled two-day trial, a jury of 10 men and two women found Rex Allen Hayes Jr., 36, of El Dorado innocent of negligent homicide, aggravated assault and first-degree battery and guilty of driving while intoxicated, second-degree battery and first-degree assault.
