Mr. Regie Allen White, 69 of Bastrop, died Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA. He was born in Crossett, AR, on October 2, 1949, to his parents, Ernest Ray and Kathleen Stinson White. He graduated from Crossett High School and then joined the United States Army where he served during the Vietnam War. He furthered his education at Austin Peay University in Clarksville, TN, graduating with a degree in Psychology.

After 31 years, Mr. White retired from Georgia Pacific Plywood Mill. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and a member of the Martin Trail Hunting Club. Mr. White also loved to cook.

He soon met the love of his life, Susan and along with her came a beautiful girl named Angel, who very quickly fell in love with Regie and looked up to him. In 1988, Angel, Angie, and Allen welcomed a tag-along sister, Anna.
They all grew up loving each other as close, caring siblings. Yes, they were a mine, yours and ours, but you would never know it.

Mr. White is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, James Elbert White, Rex Kirby White, Ricky Lane White; grandparents, Samuel and Annie May Sheeley White, James Peden and Gustava Crawford Stinson; father-in-law, Alton McCollum and mother-in-law, Carolyn Christmas McCollum.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Susan McCollum White; three daughters, Angela Gayle White of Hot Springs, AR, Annice Kathleen White of Paragould, AR, Angel Ivy Garner (Scott) of Savannah, TN; one son, Regie Allen White, Jr. and wife Sandra of Monticello, AR; grandchildren, Richard, Jamie, Sydney, Claire, Seth, Brittney, Blake, Jacob, Gabriel, Kyler, Duncan, Stephan; sister, Dorothy White Farmer and husband Allen of Hamburg, AR; sister-in-law, Gerlinda White of Yelm, WA and a host of nieces and nephews and his beloved fur babies.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
