The undefeated Crossett Middle School Eagles baseball team hosted El Dorado and won 5-2 Monday night at the Crossett Sports Complex.

El Dorado scored first after a CMS fielding error, but CMS tied the score in the bottom of the first when Stetson Bishop hit a triple. Bishop was knocked in by Chase Golden to tie the score 1 - 1.

Neither team scored in the second inning, but El Dorado regained the lead in the top of the third inning 2 - 1.

The CMS Eagles returned to the dugout ready to get their bats rattling. A combination of walks and hits gave CMS a 5 - 2 lead over El Dorado. Cooper Williams walked, but was knocked home when Golden hit a single. Lane Ferguson stepped up to the plate, but was walked and joined Golden on the bases.

Brady Rickman knocked both Ferguson and Golden in to make the score 4 - 2 with CMS leading for the first time. Levi Taylor hit a single that knocked Rickman in, putting the scoreboard at 5 - 2 with CMS leading.
