The Crossett Eagles won both of their basketball games in Hermitage last week. The senior high team won 72-32.
“It was a good opportunity to play everybody and assess areas of strength and weakness,” Coach John Fox said.
Quendarius Hampton put the most points on the board, scoring 22 points for the senior high Eagles. Zion Patterson was next in line by dropping 14 points in the basket, and Kylar Cantley was right behind him with 12.
Cantley also hit two three-point shots.
The team was 90 percent on free throw attempts, with Shamar Hodges, Quentin Goree and Jaylon Brown all shooting 100 percent of their attempts.
The junior high Eagles also beat the Hermits last Tuesday, with the final score standing at 68-43.
Coach Austin Wilson said the senior high hasn’t played since Hermitage, but the Junior High Eagles played Hamburg Saturday. The Junior Eagles beat the Lions 48 - 24.
