Rosie Jean Dunn, 67 of Wilmot, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake Village. She was a lifelong resident of Wilmot, a retired certified nursing assistant and former employee of Georgia Pacific Plywood Mill. She served on the Wilmot City Council, and was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Dunn; two sons, Terry and Thomas Dunn; and her father, Frank Stanley Sr.
Survivors include three sons, Albert Dunn, Jr. and spouse Tracy of El Dorado, Timothy Dunn and spouse Lana of Sherwood and Reginald Dunn and spouse Leighann of Little Rock; three daughters, Rosita Lewis and spouse Terry of Little Rock, Keisha Allison and spouse Roy of Little Rock, and Alice Ellis and spouse Kenneth of Wilmot; her mother, Mattie Stanley of Wilmot; eight brothers, Roosevelt Stanley and spouse Marie of De Soto, Texas, Frank Stanley Jr. and spouse Deborah of Little Rock, , Bobby Stanley and spouse Margret of Spokane, Wa., Isaac Stanley of Overland Park, Kan., John Stanley and spouse Tania of Edwardsville, Kan., Luther Stanley and spouse Tina of Roseburg, Ore., Michael Stanley of Little Rock and Leroy Stanley of Wilmot; five sisters, Emma Knight of Los Angeles, Cheryl Okekee of Ashburn, Va., Hattie Stanley of Wilmot, Frankye Stanley of Overland Park and Angela Brooks and spouse Bruce of Kansas City, Kan.; 20 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a number of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at First Baptist Church in Wilmot with the Rev. Albert Fenceroy officiating.
Her brothers will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will follow at Saint Martha Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc.
