Larry Eugene Watt, age 71, of London, AR, formerly of Crossett, AR passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Baptist Health Medical Center.
Larry was born in Savannah, GA on January 31, 1946, to Eugene and Dixie Bryan Watt. He retired from Georgia Pacific after 51 years as a mechanic and electrician. He was a member of the Bleu Bayou Motorcycle Club in Monroe, La, the NRA and a strong supporter of the Wounded Warriors.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Nemi Day.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Slonaker Watt of London, AR; a daughter, Mardi Weems (Paul) of Crossett, AR; four step-sons, Shannon Burney of London, AR, Michael Burney of Winslow, AR, Joshua Burney of Aurora, CO, Will Weiler of Worthington, OH; a step-daughter, Mary Burney of Russellville, AR; a brother, Dickie Watt (Diane) and a sister, Donna Gail Rogers, both of Crossett, AR; twenty grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Watt officiating under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, AR. (www.jonesservice.com)
